Grange Farm Logs is a fully working wood yard open 6 days a week.

 Please feel free to visit us and see first hand how efficiently we operate.  See our windrowed ‘mountains’ of logs seasoning prior to production.  Having been seasoned for at least 1 year the wood will then be split into logs using our up to date, well maintained equipment.  A small quantity of logs will be netted up but the majority will be stored as loose logs ready for distribution via our website or direct from the yard shop.  Wherever possible we like to reduce packaging, such as the large white builder bags, as this only creates disposal problems.

Customers frequently like to visit us before they take their first order so they can see the quality of the split logs we produce and also take advantage of the advice available from our knowledgeable staff.  It is an opportunity to take a small quantity of products to try to see which better suits your appliance.

Generally logs are cut to 10 inch lengths.  Please ask if you require anything different, we can usually oblige.

Kindling is cut to 8 inch lengths and is usually pine or poplar.

We pride ourselves on always supplying logs ready to burn - wet, unseasoned logs are less efficient.  Be aware when buying logs by weight, if you are unlucky enough for the logs to be wet you will only have a small load!
